Why...?

If you guys still remember, I once had three kittens namely Chakie, Micci and Tweety. A few months back, Chakie had died from an illness, leaving his two brothers.

About a month ago, around 2 a.m. in the morning, a kitten suddenly came to our house. looked like he was lost. my brother took him in, and cared for him that he changed from being scared to evryone and every cats into a naughty, spoiled little Kitten.
his name was Chocho.

A few weeks ago, he almost died, for... I accidentally stepped on him. (h had this habit of suddenly dashed around of people's feet.
I thought he was going to die there and then, but he survived. we had called a doctor and around a week later, he was fully healthy.
He was back to his normal perky self, and he loved to walk around the house, and outside the house.
A week ago, me and my mom needed to go to the publisher company for signing the contract, and so we live Chocho at home. we felt no need to lock him up in a box coz he was helathy and he would jump out of it anyway. and besides, he wasn't alone. Micci, Tweety, and Bambi were home as well.
but when we got home that night, he was nowhere to be found. I searched around my neighborhood but I couldn't find him. his fur was dark gray so he's hard to spot at night. I thought I would look for him agian in the morning.

Come morning, a granny who lives near my house said that Chocho was found dead in a gutter. apparently, he fell off and no one noticed so he died from cold.
I thought that it was unfair. just when he was fully healed, he had to die like that.
that was a week ago...

I was left with only Micci and Tweety again. Just when I started to accept Chocho's death, that it was probably his fate to die so young, another incident happened.

this morning, I was awake when my mom rushed to my room, saying that the very same granny was shouting outside about the kitten being bitten.
I rushed outside, and some of my neighbors who happened to be outside told me that Simba, a big doggy of that granny, bit Micci.

I heard ruckus coming from the Granny's house as she was trying to make Simba letting go of Micci. but apparently it was too late.

Micci was already dead.

That granny told me that when he was about to go out, Simba ran out of the gate and Micci, being the unsuspecting kitten that he was, came closer to Simba. and so he was bitten.

Why did Micci have to die like that? he was so healthy, playful, spoiled.. he was so lively... and yet he died from being bitten by a big bad doggy.

Why are my kitten gone one by one?

now Tweety is all I have left. am I supposed to expect him dying one of these days too?

Why...

Chocho is the smallest one, and Micci is the yellow one. now, only Tweety is left.



Farewell Micci... I hope you'll meet Chakie and Chocho up there, and you'll be happy with them...

i am not as close as to our neko-tachi we have but i saw many times how my two imouto cried everytime one neko died. except when my our kyou-chan died being hit by a motorcycle. and he had the same pattern as your micchi except he was almost orange as souma kyou!

My brother sounded like holding back his sobs when my mom told Micci over the phone yesterday. well he was practically the 'mother' when he took the abandoned kittens in..

he tried to cross the street but maybe because of being old, he could not run fast enough to avoid the tricycle. he was with us for 6 years i think!
