Sumary: There is a saying that pets often resemble their owners. Tezuka found it kind of true.
Disclaimer: Konomi-sensei has brilliantly created Tezuka and Fuji for each other. I only own the cat. :P

Anyway, Yu said she’s more of a cat-person. Hence, here’s a TeFu fluff with a cat in it :P

P.S.: this belongs to the same universe as Moments With You. Reading it first would help to understand of their situations and where they stand, but it’s not really necessary. Basically, both of them roomed together during college and had evolved from mere friends into ‘more-than-friends-yet-not-quite-lovers-but-are-together-nonetheless’. –smacked-
Oh, and Miko is Fuji’s cat, though Tezuka ended up as the one feeding him :P

‘Pets often resemble their owners’. Tezuka had never paid attention to that saying before, but somehow, he started wondering if the saying was true.

Tezuka often found Fuji was curling up in his bed, with Miko curled up beside him. Both would let a really content expression, and wouldn’t wake up no matter what he did to them. That is, when both were in a deep sleep.

Miko was kind of a hyperactive cat, at times. He didn’t really like to just sit and did nothing, and always tried to find things to entertain himself. Such things usually included climbing up the curtains so high that Fuji once called him a spider-cat. At another time, he’ll climb Fuji’s lap, and played with the strands of honey brown fell pass his owner’s shoulder. There were also times when the chubby cat had the guts to bother Tezuka who was busy doing his assignments by poking and biting the bespectacled boy’s toes, and when Tezuka tried to swing his foot away, Miko would take it as an invitation to play, and would gladly chased Tezuka’s foot, and grabbed on the stoic boy’s leg, usually with his claws out, making Tezuka hissed in pain. When he finally got tired of running around the house for entertainment, Miko would yawn and climb on either Tezuka’s or Fuji’s laps before falling soundly asleep.

When Fuji was in one of his moods, he was a restless person and since Tezuka was mostly-always-busy, the fair haired youth had to find his own entertainment. His ideas of entertainment included redecorating the apartment by changing the carpets or the curtains, or simply re-arranging the furniture in every part of the house, except, of course, Tezuka’s room (since Fuji knew Tezuka’s OC-ness would get him into trouble if he ever messed around with Tezuka’s stuffs). Sometimes, he would play with Miko with various cat toys he had bought for the cat, until the feline got tired out. Sporadically, when Fuji thought he should ‘improve’ his culinary skills, the smiling boy would experiment with his own recipes and made Tezuka his taster. This usually ended up in the increasing frowns on the dark haired youth’s face. Once Fuji was tired enough from all of his antics, he would come to Tezuka and fell asleep on the sofa with Tezuka’s lap as his pillow.

These similarities issue also apply when both Miko and Fuji wanted something from Tezuka. In Miko’s case, it’s usually about food or milk. Miko would meow in a spoiled manner until he got Tezuka’s attention, and then he would throw 'that look', which Tezuka found it hard to resist. In Fuji’s case, however, the ‘something’ he wanted could be just… anything. Fuji would purr on his ears until Tezuka blushed, and then he would give 'that smile', which only God knows how to resist. That was how they always won over Tezuka, and he could do nothing about it.

Not that Tezuka minded spoiling any of them, though.
