Anyway, you seem to be pretty fond of the Kirihara x An pairing, but I really, really have no muse for a KiriAn fic, so I made a KiriAn fanart for you instead XD
But I'm really sorry for being uncreative, I made this fanart based on your gift fic for my b'day last April >.>

She's missing a life.

She calls up the old friends, and they turn her down. Now that she has the time to go to them, they will not let her in. Sometimes, she thinks the inevitable, but they are all just too busy for work. She is, too.

He calls her up from work just for the hell of it. He never tells her anything romantic—just puny details of tennis players that he hates and the sight of an old senpai that he'd hate to go against. Sometimes he's angry, sometimes he's calm. There was a time where he sounded as though he was about to hit someone. His moodswings get the best of him in and out of the court, and he'll drag her with him most of the time.

To her, it's enough. Just hearing his voice on the other side of the connection makes her feel that someone actually wants her.

It's addicting, the attention. Like coffee.
