Hauuuu, my writing muse is failing meee~!!! T_T *flails*
I dunno, but these days, I can’t seem to write anything worthy >.<
Is my skill degrading? Am I running out of muse? O_O

Anyway, I’m currently working on a fic and am STUCK D:
So that’s why, can you guys help me poke my muse a bit? I have a question:

WHY do you think Tezuka is in love with Fuji?

Maybe Tezuka is in love with Fuji because Fuji is such a playful, evil, sadist person but Tezuka knows that deep inside, Fuji is actually not what people think he is :D He understands others and try to help but he always help in a way that makes people thinks that he's causing trouble (I think it's a bit incoherent here ^^;)

Hmmm... I really should be getting ready for school but you know me and I will not let that huge question hanging. (Though I must say that I'm having quite a huge block too. *shoots school*)

Anyway, here are the reasons Tezuka loves Fuji.
1) Tezuka loves challenges and Fuji (what with the nonchalant attitude) is a challenge.
2) When someone is always by his side (and vows to be right by his side for the rest of his life), he can't help but be touched and fall in love.
3) There are things that only Fuji can do that Tezuka appreciates.
4) Because Tezuka knows that Fuji fills the emptiness in his heart.
5) Fuji sees the human!Tezuka and acknowledges it as much as the buchou!Tezuka and the tennis!Tezuka.
6) They are PERFECT! Enough said.

Dulu itu juga jadi pertanyaan gua, Fuji kan jail n sadis tu, kok Tezuka mau ya? Mungkin karena :
1. Tezuka tu kena penyakit yang demen disiksa itu tu..maso apa gitu..
2. Karena Fuji tau kapan harus ngomong n kapan harus diam, jadi Tezuka nyaman ama dia..
3. Kalo dari fisik, mungkin karena Fuji tu cute, suaranya alus, matanya warna biru (warna kesukaan Tezuka^^)

-Fuji is the only one who can see through Captain Tezuka
-They are both great tennis players (something in common)
-Fuji is nice and cares about others

I guess Tezuka loves Fuji because Fuji is unpredictable. He loves Fuji because it's a thrill. He loves Fuji because Fuji is one of the only persons who talks to him (a lot). He loves Fuji because he is a challenge, Tezuka likes challenges. He loves Fuji because he is creative. Fuji has creative ways to beat his opponent, but he is also creative in other things. Sorry Ai, those things are a bit random too >_< I don't know either.

Well, is Fuji. It's just imposible not to love Fuji xDD
And well, Tezuka is so serious he needs someone who can pull out his perverted side, and Fuji is just perfect for it. And so sweet sometimes you can do nothing but want to protect him, and I think Tezuka is the type who loves protecting those who he loves... And well, at least if he does something perverted and people notice, he can blame Fuji xDDD

Hmmm, Why Tez loves Fuji huh....

I guess it's because he never "loved" him. He was firstly interested in Fuji's tennis skills, and thought of him as an opponent, rival. He was pissed (or angry, or however you want it) that the tensai didn't show his true power in Tennis. Thus, he grew very curious and tried to understand him, which he failed badly. Instead, he fell in love with Fuji because Fuji understood Tezuka, got guts to face him, to oppose him, to challenge him, and is his only true rival. Fuji teases Tezuka without fear and wasn't very scared at his stoic face, unlike other people. Tez was very serious and the only attention he got was from fangirls admiring his *beauty* and squealing at him.
Basically, Fuji just shared a lot of stuff with Tez, and since he was the first and only person to do it, Tez loved him xD

I was reading some of the comments and I really don't understand why everyone thinks Fuji is a sadist? I don't think he is. He's a tease, he likes to win and he likes to play tricks on his friends, but that's hardly sadistic. The only time where he's been truly mean spirited (i wouldn't even call it sadistic is in his matchup with mizuki and that's because of mizuki's treatment of his brother). sorry for the off topic rant >.> but it really annoys me when people characterize fuji as an evil sadist, when he's been shown again and again to be one of the most caring person on the show

Back on topic, I think Tezuka would fall for fuji because:
1) They complement each other. Tezuka pushes Fuji to achieve and strive to become better, while Fuji's playful personality would loosen Tezuka up and help the buchou see the lighter, more whimsical side of life.
2) Fuji understands Tezuka better than anyone. Many times on the anime, during a match, Tezuka and Fuji would only have to share a look and know what each other's thinking about. It takes a really close bond for two people to understand each other this well. Even oishi, who's the vice captain, doesn't seem to be as intuned with tezuka, as fuji is. If this is true for tennis, why can't it be true for other aspects of their life as well?
3) Fuji is a challenge. Tezuka even acknowledged that during their match. And we all know tezuka thrives when challenged.
4) Fuji is the type of person who would wait an eternity to be with the one that he truly cares about. (I know he teases Yuuta like crazy, but at the same time, he's very respectful of Yuuta's decisions and he's never rushed Yuuta to return his brotherly feelings). So he wouldn't rush Tezuka to fully accept his feelings for him until Tezuka's ready. And I feel that Tezuka would really appreciate that in a partner.
5) They share many similar qualities. They are both loyal to a fault. And even though, neither would overtly show this softer side of themselves (tezuka hiding behind his stoic mask, and fuji using his playful teasing as a shield), they would know each other well enough to recognize and value these subtle signs of protectiveness and devotion plus they're both pretty :P
6) Because Fuji is fuji and tezuka is tezuka, and fuji and tezuka belong together :P
