Lots of us write original fiction. I do as well. More so these days, seeing my fanfiction muse seems to be a little dead... I just don't publish books. But writing fanfic most certainly doesn't make us less writers... I whole heartly agree with you and animegoil. Because of me writing fanfic, my writing has improved a lot. My English has improved a lot. And I have improved alot. I got to know me. Fanfiction, writing in general, helped me with that.
Oh, that comment made me angry as well... *pouts*
Anyway. Good luck with translating. And yeah, I guess flirting does have its benefits... XD
